As a founder of Claycomb Associates, Larry brings over 40 years of educational facility design experience to our firm. This personal attention and involvement with districts from the top-down continues to make Claycomb Associates’ reputation for quality and performance unsurpassed in this industry.
Larry has always specialized in the design of educational facilities. His designs have repeatedly been honored for outstanding design, functional arrangements, energy efficiency, and ease of maintenance. He is a registered architect in Texas in addition to five other states. He has oversight responsibilities of our firm including risk management, continuing education, human resources, accounting, and facilities.
Larry is a graduate of Texas A&M University with graduate studies at Princeton University. Prior to forming Claycomb Associates, Architects in 1984, Larry held the position of Executive Vice President for 20 years with a national architectural/engineering firm specializing in school design. During his career, Larry has been the Architect of Record and Principal in Charge of over 500 school projects for over 200 districts.
