Kim Hocott joined the Claycomb in 2022 to lead communications for the Houston office and was named the firm’s Director of Communications in 2023. She plays a vital role in overseeing Claycomb’s communication and bond efforts.

Of her many strengths – making strong connections with people, practicing servant leadership, and exhibiting attention to detail are just a few. Furthermore, she and her team excel during bond seasons, ensuring that Claycomb’s clients receive the most effective and impactful communication campaigns.

Kim, a life-long learner, is inspired by Brene Brown, Damon West, and Walt Disney – she’s even an annual passholder to Disney World. She strives to live by Winston Churchill’s words, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, photography, and rooting for her hometown Houston Astros.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature & Journalism from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, a Master of Arts in Communications from Southern New Hampshire University, and a lifetime teaching certificate.
