Larry is our founding partner and retired in 2019.

During his 40-year career, Larry has been the Architect of Record and Principal-in-Charge of over 500 school projects for over 200 districts.  His personal attention and involvement with districts from the top-down established our reputation as a leader in quality, service, and performance.

Larry has a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas A&M University and graduate studies at Princeton University.  He is a registered architect in Texas as well as five other states.  Prior to founding Claycomb Associates, Architects, Larry held the position of Executive Vice President for 20 years with a national architectural/engineering firm specializing in school design.
