Tomato Bowl

Stadium Renovation

Jacksonville ISD

Scope of Services

For more than 80 years, the Tomato Bowl has stood as a cornerstone of Jacksonville ISD and the surrounding community. This project carefully preserved the historic Works Progress Administration stadium while introducing modern upgrades to extend its legacy for future generations. By shifting the field 40 yards, the renovation added 2,000 seats, improved accessibility, and created new band and team entry experiences, including ADA and team drop-off areas. Today, the 8,300-seat stadium blends restored structures with contemporary amenities such as a new press box, updated home and visitor locker rooms, improved concessions and restrooms, and modernized seating. Enhanced turf, drainage, security, signage, and site improvements ensure the Tomato Bowl continues to host Friday night traditions in a safe, accessible, and memorable setting.
